Discover your dosha
Free Dosha Profile
Most wellness advice treats everyone the same. Ayurveda doesn’t. Your dosha, your unique constitution, explains why you feel the way you feel. Why you thrive in certain seasons. Why stress hits you the way it does. Why the same diet works for your friend but not for you.

Ayurveda - What Is It?
Before modern medicine, every culture had its own system of healing. In China, that tradition became Traditional Chinese Medicine. In India, it became Ayurveda.
Ayurveda is over 5,000 years old. The word means “the science of life.” It’s a complete system focused on promoting balance and preserving prana, your vital life force. Where modern medicine often treats symptoms in isolation, Ayurveda addresses the root cause by restoring balance to your whole system.
Many “cutting-edge” wellness practices originated here. Breathwork. Oil pulling. Eating with the seasons. Using spices for function, not just flavour. Even gut health, something modern science is only now exploring, has been central to Ayurveda for centuries.
What excites me most is that science is catching up. Studies now confirm what Ayurveda has taught for millennia. Meditation stimulates the vagus nerve. Morning sunlight resets circadian rhythm. Gut health is foundational to wellbeing. As a scientist, I need the evidence. And the evidence is there.
At the heart of Ayurveda are the three doshas. Vata is air and space: creative, quick, changeable. Pitta is fire and water: driven, focused, intense. Kapha is earth and water: steady, grounded, nurturing. Understanding your dosha isn’t about fitting into a box. It’s about understanding why your body responds the way it does. Why you feel scattered when life gets busy. Why you get irritable when you skip meals. Why certain seasons leave you feeling stuck.
Today we’d call this personalised medicine. Ayurveda has been practicing it for five thousand years.
